Loader crane killer

Peter Malcolm Graham, 43 was killed on Thursday after the boom of an articulated loader crane swung out from a truck traveling in the opposite direction tearing the cab off of his pick up truck.

The accident occurred at 9:30 am on the Invercargill to Bluff section of State Highway one, seven kilometres south of Invercargill at the southern tip of New Zealand’s South Island...

The transporter truck was traveling north on the highway, while Graham was heading south, the crane’s boom suddenly swung across the road swiping the Graham’s pick-up truck, tearing the roof off, killing him instantly.
