135ft Genie for Ausdirect

Australian rental company Ausdirect Hire has taken delivery of a 135ft Genie ZX-135/70 articulated boom lift.

The ZX-135/70 features a four section telescopic riser, topped by a two section boom and two section telescopic articulating jib, providing a maximum working height of 43.1 metres, with an outreach of 21.3 metres at an up & over height of 23 metres and a platform capacity of 227kg.

Ausdirect managing director Damien Connolly said: “We are excited to introduce the first new unit of 2026 into our access equipment rental fleet: the brand new Genie ZX135. This powerhouse will enable our clients to reach new heights, both literally and figuratively. With its incredible capabilities, including a working height of 141ft and a horizontal outreach of 70ft, this beast won’t disappoint.”

Founded in 2018, Ausdirect is based in Brisbane, and runs a fleet of telehandlers, scissor lifts, forklifts, boom and trailer lifts, along with spider and mast booms.
