CTE for Michael Wilson

UK rental and roofing company Michael Wilson & Son has taken delivery of a 24 metre DZ 24 CTE truck mounted platform as part of its rental fleet expansion plans.

The handover


Mounted on a 3.5 tonne Iveco chassis, the truck mount features a dual sigma riser topped by a three section telescopic boom and articulated jib. It has a maximum outreach of 12.7 metres with 80kg in the 1.4 metre by 700mm basket, and a maximum working height of 23.6 metres with a maximum capacity of 230kg.

The new lift in operation during roof maintenance


Based in Halifax, West Yorkshire and founded in 1979, the company provides roofing services along with building maintenance and building renovations, as well as operating a rental fleet. Tom Wilson founded Wilson Access Hire in late 2002 and sold the business to AFI in 2013. He later worked with BMS.
