Polish rental company Binkowski has taken delivery of a 300 tonne Liebherr LTM 1300-6.4 All Terrain crane, the first of this model to arrive in Poland. The arrival coincides with the company's 25th anniversary celebrations.
The new crane is handed over
The six axle, single engine crane replaces a 220 tonne LTM 1220-5.1 and becomes its new flagship. The LTM 1300-6 was - updated last May, and features an eight section, 90 metre main boom topped by an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, to which two seven metre inserts can be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a tip height of 121 metres. Other features include the Variobase Plus outrigger setup system, which offers a wider, more variable rear outrigger spread - up to 9.4 metres - as well as AutoBallast.

Managing Director Przemyslaw Binkowski said: “We are proud to be the first company in Poland to take delivery of the LTM 1300-6.4. For us, the investment in the 300 tonne crane is a logical step. It is a direct response to the dynamic demand of our customers. With the LTM 1300 6.4, we are modernising our fleet and are committed to growth and innovation - just in time for our 25th anniversary.”
“We were always very satisfied with the LTM 1220-5.1. However, we now need higher lifting capacities. Our customers are presenting us with increasingly difficult challenges. Prefabricated components are becoming heavier and need to be lifted further. We are best prepared with the LTM 1300-6.4.”
Established in 1991, and based in Śrem, south of Poznan, Binkowski offers crane and telehandler rental with a speciality in prefabricated construction, along with transport and demolition work with around 25 employees.
