Socage has acquired full ownership of its joint venture operation in India – Macons Socage – which becomes Socage India.
The joint venture with the Macons Equipments group, which produces concrete plants and loader cranes was set up in 2016 and is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, north of Mumbai. It has part manufactured and mounted some of the smaller products from Socage’s truck mounted lift range, while selling larger models and, more recently, spider lifts built entirely in Italy.

“Under the new corporate structure, Socage India will play a central role in the group’s international strategy, coming a major production and operational subsidiary. Significant investments are planned, including the construction of a new manufacturing facility, which will further strengthen local production capacity and support the group’s medium to long term growth plans, serving the local market more effectively along with the entire Asian region, confirming India as a strategic industrial and logistics hub for the Socage group.
