Italian aerial platform manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has appointed Portuguese sales and rental company Samurai Equipment & Machinery as its official distributor for Portugal.
Founded last year, Samurai is based in Lisbon, but has its sales and rental warehouse with its service and rental Partner Machrent in Quinta do Anjo, north of Setubal. Its rental fleet includes earthmoving equipment, while it is also a dealer for Japanese manufacturer Takeuchi.

Machrent was established in 2007 and operates from 11 locations throughout Portugal and runs a rental fleet of around 3,000 units, including Aerial work platforms and will play a key role in the appointment.
Samurai managing partner Alberto Teixeira said: “The addition of Multitel to our range represents a very important step for us.
