Specialist trailer manufacturer Faymonville Group has acquired majority shares in Italian material handling manufacturer Morello.
Based in Turin, northern Italy, Morello is an engineering and manufacturing company specialising in heavy duty material handling and industrial transport systems. Founded in 1946, the company operates in 45 countries and designs and builds custom vehicles used to move loads within factories, warehouses, and large industrial facilities. Its product range includes transfer carts, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), flatbed trolleys, electric trucks, industrial trailers, and lifting or tilting equipment. The company predominately operates within automotive, steel, energy, aerospace, and oil and gas.

The agreement sees Faymonville acquire a majority stake in Morello and will allow the group to broaden its range of self-propelled solutions within the lighter load classes designed for intralogistics operations, making it better equipped to handle internal transport and material movement within industrial facilities.
Faymonville chief executive Alexander Fickers said: “This strategic acquisition significantly enhances our market position and reinforces our role as a comprehensive provider for specialised transport solutions. We are excited to welcome Morello as the newest member in our Family.”
