Haulotte has opened a new workshop facility in Aprilia, due south of Rome, with the aim of improving support for its customers across Central and Southern Italy.
The new workshop, dedicated to the maintenance and repair of Haulotte machines, includes 600 square metres undercover, along with a 1,000 square metre yard. It is also in addition to the existing mobile service units across the region.
Until now, complex workshop repairs typically had to go to Haulotte Italia’s Milan headquarters, with long transport times and higher costs.
Haulotte Italia general manager Nicola Violini said: “This facility represents a strategic investment designed to bring Haulotte closer to its customers by offering faster response times, improved logistics, and reduced machine downtime. It allows us to fill a historical gap in the region, where a direct manufacturer service centre was lacking. With this new structure, we can simplify logistics, shorten machine downtime, and provide a reliable local service hub for customers in a rapidly growing market.”
Service manager Giovanni Zaccaria added: “The strong demand we are already seeing confirms how necessary a direct Haulotte presence in this region was. This new workshop allows us to deliver specialised technical support while improving fleet uptime for our customers.”
