Software provider MCS Rental Software has launched MCS AI, a feature that analyses up to two years of customer data and uses it to produce a condensed summary of account activity.
The tool highlights trends in customer activity, and covers areas such as rental performance, recent interactions, outstanding invoices and service levels.

Chief technology officer, Chris Clarke said: "This innovation is about turning data into informed decisions. The customer summary gives rental businesses a clearer, faster understanding of their customer relationships, helping them respond proactively, improve service, and build stronger customer loyalty."
MCS said the feature works across its software platform and is intended to save time by reducing the need to review large volumes of customer data manually and that users can also add instructions to tailor the summary.
