Based north of Porto in northwest Portugal, Equipleva currently sells aluminium steps, ladders, and scaffold towers. It has now moved into the aerial work platform market with the Axio low-level range of work platforms, including self-propelled mast lifts, and scissor lifts - both push-around and self-propelled. The first 10ft P300 scissor lift has already been sold to Santa Maria Airport in the Azores.

In addition, Equipleva’s sister company, Rentacesso, which runs a scaffold tower rental operation from locations in Porto, Lisbon and in the Algarve, will now add Axolift platforms to its fleet.

Equipleva chief executive Rui Pinto said: “We are extremely pleased with the cooperation with Gromet/Axolift. As a specialist in safe and ergonomic solutions for both access equipment and logistics, these products perfectly match our focus on quality and safety.”

Axolift chief executive, Massimo Grossele added: “We are very pleased with this new partnership, which is part of our strategy to be represented throughout Europe. Equipleva and Rentacesso are two leading players in the Portuguese market, with a strong focus on quality products and safety.”
