The rebuild included mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and structural work. Karun said it completely replaced the electrical harnesses along with all hydraulic and pneumatic hoses. The boom was also completely dismantled, with cylinders replaced or resealed, along with all other worn parts, while the boom pinning and locking system was fully inspected and updated.

Karun's next refurbishment job is a Grove RT550E Rough Terrain crane, while it says that it plans to expand its EnCore work to other Grove models and add Manitowoc crawler cranes to its repertoire.
