HVS owner Markus Sturhahn said: “I was aware that a technological transition was coming. At the same time, the R23DA is a proven and reliable machine. This made the model change special offer particularly attractive, especially in combination with Imer’s lightweight aluminium trailer solution.”

HVS Hubarbeitsbühnen is based in Steinhagen, near Bielefeld, north west of Dortmund. The company was founded by Friedel Sturhahn in 1996, working with just one machine. He quickly made a name for himself as one of the first aerial work platform rental companies in the area, and within the first six months had an employee and a dozen platforms. The company now runs a fleet of around 500 units along with telehandlers, fork lifts and truck mounted lifts up to 26 metres, with a team of 25 employees.
