Australian sales and rental company Cosmo Cranes has taken delivery of a 450 tonne Tadano AC 7.450-1 All Terrain crane.
The new crane gets to work
The seven axle AC 7.450-1 features a seven section 80 metre main boom and can also be equipped with extensions up to 59 metres for a 130 metre tip height, 56 metres of extension and fixed offset jib for a 133 metre tip height, or an 81 metre luffing jib combined with the enhanced SSL Sideways Superlift system for a similar tip height. The maximum counterweight is 150 tonnes. It is also equipped with Tadano's 'Surround View' system that employs six cameras to create a computer aided display in the operator's cab, showing the maximum possible outrigger extension at the crane’s current position, and thus achieve the largest possible base and therefore optimum load chart for that location.
Established in 2003, Cosmo Cranes is based in Norton, Sydney, and runs a fleet of All Terrain cranes up to a 300 tonne Demag, along with tower cranes and pick & carry cranes topped by a 40 tonne Franna.
