Warsaw service depot for Grove

Manitowoc has opened a new service facility near Warsaw, Poland, which will initially support Grove All Terrain and Rough Terrain cranes, with the company planning to extend servicing to Potain tower cranes and add operator training further down the line.
The new facility

The new 900 square metre facility will provide parts and servicing and is also a certified EnCore location, offering rebuild, refurbishment and repair services, with the first EnCore project due to begin in the coming weeks. Three team members are currently based at the site, and the company said it is recruiting further staff members.

Dirk Wolfsteller, vice president of aftermarket services for mobile cranes Europe, said: “We are opening this service facility to meet the needs of our Grove customers in Poland, and it will serve as our base for growth as we continue to expand our customer support operations in the country. Our Cranes plus 50 strategy is about growing our aftermarket services and making sure that whenever customers need a technician, we have one available. We are growing our team here with a plan to offer additional services as we evolve.”
