War related mailing challenges

The mailing house we use to dispatch the printed version of Cranes & Access magazine has informed us that, due to the current situation in the Middle East, regular bulk shipments to the following countries have been temporarily suspended.
-Bahrain
-Iran
-Jordan
-Kuwait
-Oman
-Pakistan
-Qatar
-Saudi Arabia
-UAE
We have been told that the only option remaining is to send them with Royal Mail Airmail service. The problem is that it works out at an additional cost of £2 per copy!! And £1 for the UAE.

Given the number of printed magazines that we send to the region, the total additional cost is eye-watering!

We have decided to go ahead and bear the cost for this month’s issue – April/May - but cannot sustain the additional charge if it continues. On top of this, we are uncertain how effective it will be, given reports of flight suspensions etc...

If you are located in any of these countries and do not receive your usual copy by the end of next week, please contact us. And let's hope that by the time the June issue goes out, things will have returned to normal.
