German company AS TreeCare has taken delivery of a 38 metre Ruthmann T380 XS truck mounted platform.
The new machine all ready to go
The platform has a five section boom, topped by a 1.5 metre jib with 185 degrees of articulation. It also features an independent elevating boom pivot point, all of which provides a working height of 38 metres and up to 32.1 metres of working outreach with the boom fully extended and horizontal, at which point it has a platform capacity of 100kg.
High ground clearance and 4x4 drive make an ideal machine for the job
The maximum 500kg platform capacity is available at a working height of just over 36 metres and an outreach of almost 26 metres. The elevating pivot point also provides an up & over clearance of 4.5 metres. The lift is mounted on a two axle 4x4 MAN ,chassis with an overall length of 8.35 metres and it weighs just under 18 tonnes.
