UK rental company 24/7 Crane Hire has taken delivery of a 230 tonne Liebherr LTM 1230-5.1 All Terrain, which takes over as its new 'flagship' crane.

The five axle crane is equipped with an eight section, 75 metre main boom and can be topped by an 11.5 to 20 metre bi-fold swingaway extension that offsets by up to 40 degrees. Up to three, seven metre inserts can also be added between the boom nose and swingaway for a maximum tip height of 113 metres with the main boom at 68 metres.

Founded in 2017, 24/7 operates a fleet of mobile cranes ranging from two axle All Terrains to the new 230 tonne five axle unit from its location in Peterlee, Durham, northeast England.
