Manitowoc has expanded its major component ‘Rapid Response Shop’ at its Shady Grove manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. Services now include fabricated components, lattice boom repairs for crawler and tower cranes as well as lattice extensions on mobile cranes, as well as structural component repair and refurbishment. The company says same day emergency lattice repairs are available, while standard delivery is 24 hours for unpainted sections and 48 hours for painted ones.
The site now benefits from increased cutting capacity, machining, bending, preparation and paint capabilities Josh Garrington, director of product support - parts said: “The expansion of the Rapid Response Shop gives customers direct access to our factory expertise - the welders, technicians, engineers and support teams who understand these machines from the inside out. It reflects a broader commitment to supporting customers throughout the full lifecycle of their cranes, with factory-backed resources that keep their equipment working and productive long after it leaves the production line.”
