Flying the flag

USA, Massachusetts based Terex dealer James A. Kiley Company has taken two patriotic custom wrapped bucket trucks/ truck mounted utility platforms to this week’s Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference in Williamsburg, Virginia, both finished in a red, white and blue wrap linked to the United States’ upcoming 250th anniversary.

The two units are the 60ft Optima HRX55 bucket truck for Kiley and a 56.5ft TRX52 telescopic bucket truck for Terex Utilities, which will be used for demonstrations for utility crews across the US this summer set to visit events in Minnesota, Texas and Nebraska through to the end of July.

Kiley’s Jim Kiley said: “As a Terex dealer in the Northeast we are proud of the equipment we build for our customers, and we are proud of our country. This custom truck embodies that pride and patriotism that we pour into our equipment.”

Terex Utilities product marketing manager, Tyler Schwingler added: “Williamsburg, Virginia, was one of the first locations where America’s independence was celebrated 250 years ago and we thought EUFMC would be the perfect location to show off our American made bucket trucks and this tribute to the nation’s 250th birthday.”
