Dutch spider crane, tracked carrier and pick & carry crane manufacturer Hoeflon has celebrated its 20th anniversary with the opening of its new facility in Barneveld, the Netherlands, which is located alongside its existing plant. The company says a total of around 4,500 visitors attended the event.

Attendees had the opportunity to watch equipment demonstrations, join guided tours of both the existing buildings and the new facility, and learn about the company’s development and history.

During the open day, the company also launched its C10e Gen 3 spider crane – the updated version of the C10e - which offers a maximum tip height of 22 metres and can handle 209kg at its maximum radius of 18.5 metres. Overall dimensions are 3.97 metres in length, 810mm in width and two metres in height. Overall weight is 5,075kg. Compared to the previous model, the specification is broadly similar, but the updated version adds a revised jib with a 1,500kg capacity, automatic track tensioning, an updated software platform, stepless adjustable outriggers, auto folding and unfolding, an attachment recognition system with RCL (Rated Capacity Limiter) and a new remote control.
