Klaas K700 for Marsden

UK rental company Marsden Crane Services has taken delivery of an eight tonne Klaas K700 truck mounted aluminium crane.

Mounted on a MAN chassis, features include a three section 22 metre main boom and a four section 14 metre jib/ upper boom for a maximum tip height of 35 metres, where it has a capacity of 250kg. It can also handle 1.6 tonnes at a six metre radius, one tonne at 14 metres and 250kg at its maximum 30 metre radius, at which point it has a lift height of 10 metres.

An optional work platform offers a maximum working height of 33 metres and 27 metres of outreach. The maximum platform capacity is 200kg.

The outrigger footprint is variable from three metres to 5.29 metres. The crane has an overall length on the road of 8.69 metres and is 3.38 metres high. The total all up weight is 7.5 tonnes.

Technical manager Lee Marsden said: “Last week saw the arrival of our latest new Klaas Aluminium Boom Crane, the K700. Thanks as always to Simon Marnock and Steve Lewington at Kranlyft for another fantastic machine.”

Based in Wigan, the company was established in 2015 by brothers Brendan, Dale and Lee Marsden and runs a fleet of All Terrains up to 150 tonnes, city-type All Terrains, spider and mini crawler cranes, as well as aluminium truck cranes.
