T H White adds Sany marine

UK distributor T H White is to add Sany reach stackers, empty container handlers, and heavy duty forklifts to its product range and has appointed Lewis Morgan to oversee the operation as sales manager.

In January, TH White was appointed as a Sany construction machinery dealer in parts of Southwest England and the West Midlands. The two parties have now agreed to add sales, service and replacement parts support for Sany container handling equipment throughout the territory from its facilities in Stourport and Marlborough.

Lewis Morgan has been appointed as sales manager -material handlers and port machinery. He joins the company after almost 10 years with Fitzgerald Rail & Construction Equipment, where he was business development manager for the past two years, having started as a service engineer in 2016, then service coordinator and service manager. He began his career in 2007 as a service engineer with road rail equipment supplier TXM Plant, leaving after five years for a similar role at material handling equipment manufacturer Fuchs.

In 2015, he joined the Contractor Keltbray as a field service engineer, moving after 18 months to Sennebogen material handling equipment dealer Molson Equipment, leaving for Fitzgeralds towards the end of 2016.

Chief executive Alexander Scott said: "This is another exciting milestone in our growing partnership with Sany that significantly strengthens the solutions we can offer customers across the Midlands and the South. The addition of material handlers and port machinery complements our existing product range and extends our reach into new sectors."

T H White Construction also handles Manitou telehandlers and platforms, Mecalac compaction and New Holland construction equipment, while the company’s loader crane division trades as Palfinger UK.
