Dutch manufacturer VDL Energy Systems has appointed tower crane and generator rental company Armorum as its official distributor in Ireland.
VDL produces battery based site power systems that effectively obsolete the big on-site generators that typically power tower cranes, hoists and mastclimbers. They can usually be topped up via a regular power outlet or a small generator.
A VDL energy system Armorum said: “VDL’s Battery Energy Storage Systems have been recognised as industry leading, combining advanced engineering, flexibility and innovation to support a wide range of power applications.”
