UK rental company Osprey has moved to a larger headquarters and engineering premises in Portishead, North Somerset.
The company says the new facility - which is located on the same business park as its previous base - is double the size at around 510 square metres, and brings the company’s engineering, heavy transport, marine operations and project delivery teams under one roof.

The company also aims to attract and develop engineering talent, helped by the site’s proximity to universities, colleges and schools across Bristol and North Somerset. The company says this will support links with education providers and create opportunities for students and graduates through the Osprey Skills Academy.
Company chief executive, Nigel Fletcher said: “Having engineering, operational and project delivery teams together helps us work more closely, share expertise and learning, resulting in an even more integrated service to our clients.”

Based in Portishead near Bristol, its Heavy Lift division is in Mansfield, other divisions are based in the port of Bristol, Avonmouth and Northumberland, with a barge business in the Netherlands.
