Chinese aerial lift and telehandler manufacturer LGMG will display a production version of the new 106ft AR32J-2 articulated boom lift at Vertikal Days next month, alongside another new product yet to be announced.
The AR32J-2 employs a three section telescopic riser topped by a two section boom and articulated jib for a maximum working height of 34.2 metres, where it can handle its maximum platform capacity of 350kg. Maximum outreach is 20.43 metres with 260kg in the platform, or 350kg at an outreach of 18 metres. The maximum up & over height is just over 14 metres.

The overall width is 2.37 metres with the axles retracted, widening to 3.97 metres when extended, while the stowed length is 12.7 metres with the jib tucked, and the stowed height is 2.81 metres. Power comes from a Kubota diesel and the total weight is 18.9 tonnes.
LGMG UK sales director Aron Westby said: “Reducing unnecessary machine movements and providing operators with a more appropriate working envelope means a suitably sized machine can also make positioning around the site easier, while avoiding the additional transport, operating and hire costs associated with moving into a much larger class of equipment. it is surprising how often this simple strategy is overlooked.”
So far six units have arrived at LGMG's Liverpool base, with three of them already sold. The company added that in addition to this UK market launch, it will host a global new product launch at Vertikal Days, the details of which it is keeping back until just before the show opens.
