Irish Crane & Lifting has supplied five Raimondi flat top tower cranes, including three 24 tonne T577s and two 16 tonne MRT294s, to contractor Walls Construction for the Southwest Gate mixed use development in Dublin.

The three T577S, which are handling the precast installation, have 50 metre jibs with 12.38 tonne tip capacities and hook heights of 48 to 61 metres. They are equipped with 110kW hoists offering maximum speeds of 110 metres a minute. The two MRT294s have 40 metre jibs and heights of 38 and 40 metres.

When complete, Southwest Gate will include around 1,100 homes, along with a hotel, retail and commercial space.
Irish Crane & Lifting director Robert Coffey said: "We have been working with Walls Construction for more than 10 years on some of the country's most significant developments, including College Square, Grand Canal Harbour, and Rathborne Wharf. These five machines, including three heavy lift models, represent another important milestone in our collaboration."
Killarney, County Kerry based Irish Crane & Lifting was established in 1981 and has been Raimondi's dealer in Ireland for 20 years.
