First all electric Klaas K2350E

Dutch lift & shift company Triton Transport Techniek has taken delivery of the first all electric nine tonne Klaas K2350E truck crane to arrive in the Netherlands.

The new crane combines the battery electric powered Klaas superstructure with a three axle Volvo FM 6x2V all electric chassis. Specification wise the all electric crane is the same as the diesel powered model, but without the emissions or noise.

The K2350can handle its nine tonne maximum capacity at up to a six-metre radius and a height of 18 metres. It features a three section 31 metre main boom topped by a five section telescopic jib for a maximum tip height of 51 metres at which point it can handle 750kg. It can also take one tonne to a radius of 36 metres at a height of 14 metres, while at its maximum radius of 45 metres, it can handle 250kg at a height of 11 metres.

The crane supplied by local distributor All-Up included the work platform option with a maximum working height of almost 48 metres, and 36.5 metres of outreach with 250kg or 33 metres with 400kg. It was also customised for Triton’s specific applications, which range from complex machinery moving and specialised lifting jobs and complete cleanroom projects. It has a motto "the more complex, the better"

Triton Is based in Diessen – between Tilburg and Eindhoven and is managed by owners Dirk-Jan Scholten and Wil van Pelt. It focuses on machinery installation and relocation as well as load jacking and rigging. It runs a fleet of spider cranes, pick & carry cranes, truck cranes ans some access equipment.
