The Czech operation of international rental group Mateco - Mateco Czechia has expanded its depot network with a new facility in Plzeň, to the west of Prague, halfway to the German border.
The new facility
The new 2,000 square metre building is located on a 11,640 square metre site. Its facilities include office space and a fully equipped workshop, which it says will help better support customers in Western Bohemia.
The company added: “The new branch reflects our long term strategy of investing in high quality infrastructure, technical facilities, and customer services throughout the Czech Republic.”
Inside the new workshops
Mateco Czechia dates back to 2005 when it was established as Statech part of Pon Holdings, it was acquired by TVH around 13 years ago and moved into Mateco. It is based in Dolní Beřkovice, near Mělník and specialises in the rental, sale and servicing of aerial work platforms from eight locations across the country. It has operated under the Mateco rental brand since 2018 and in April 2026, it officially changed its name to Mateco Czechia following its merger with Sico Rent in October last year.
