The two axle LTM 1040-2.1 has a four section 35 metre main boom which can handle 7.4 tonnes at full extension or 1.1 tonnes at a maximum radius of 31 metres. Features include Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger setup system and remote control unit, which operates all superstructure functions.

Dewsbury & Proud said: “Our director, Jack Proud, joined the team at the show for the official handover of this latest addition to our fleet. it was great to see our newest machine on display before making its way to us and getting it ready for work.”

The company was founded in 1977, by Anthony Proud and Jeremy Dewsbury, and is based in Wolverhampton, with depots in Loughborough, Coventry and Stoke-On-Trent. It runs more than 50 cranes, supported by a team of 80. Last year, it acquired Ellis Crane Hire, possibly making it the seventh largest crane rental company in the UK.
