German rental company Wiesecker group has taken delivery of 20 Socage truck mounted platforms, 10 each of the 17.7 metre Forste 18T Speed and the 19.7 metre Forste 20TJ Speed.
The 18T features a maximum working height of 17.7 metres, a maximum outreach of 10.5 metres and a platform capacity of 230kg, or 300kg as an option. The 20TJ adds a hydraulic jib, taking working height to 19.7 metres with up to 12 metres of outreach and the same 230kg or optional 300kg platform capacity. Both are mounted on 3.5 tonne chassis and have a 1.4 metre by 700mm platform.
The new units arrive with Wiesecker
The order was placed in March and completed at the start of the month, with the machines going to Wiesecker's Miete locations in Weißenfels, Weißenthurm, Hessisch Lichtenau and Sulzbach im Taunus.
Socage Germany managing director, Andre Gerdes said: "During a product demonstration on site, our work platforms were convincing. From the order in March to the full delivery, only about six months passed. Our local service team made a significant contribution to preparing all 20 machines for rental within a short time."
