300t Tadano for Patriot

US based Patriot Crane & Rigging has taken delivery of its first 250 tonne Tadano AC 5.250L-2 All Terrain crane.
The new crane ready for the road with three axle trailing boom dolly

Launched at Bauma last year, the five axle AC 5.250L-2 features a 79 metre eight section main boom with a range of 5.8 to 30 metre lattice extensions, taking the maximum tip height to 112 metres. The crane features Tadano’s IC 1 Plus and Surround View systems, as well as the Eco mode and a start-stop function for reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions. The crane will join Patriot's taxi crane service and was supplied through RTL Equipment, Tadano's distributor for the state, complete with a three axle trailing boom dolly.

Owner Scott 'Sham' Shamburg said: "This crane gives us the lifting capacity, reach, and versatility needed for several larger and more challenging projects in our region. Combined with its easy roadability between job sites, this was a clear investment in better serving our clients and keeping project timelines on track."

Ben Steege of RTL added: "Scott and Patriot have built a sterling reputation on quality and service, and the Tadano machines fit that perfectly."

Patriot Crane & Rigging is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and has been in business for more than 14 years. Owned by Scott Shamburg, it runs a taxi crane service for contractors and businesses across Nebraska and the wider Midwest.
