Dome Auctions is holding an online auction of P-Grid e-power hybrid generators, aimed at tower cranes, mast climbers, construction hoists and other such users. Bidding starts at €35,000 against a list price of €165,000, with the sale closing on October 27th.
The P-Grid combines a Stage V diesel generator with battery storage in a single unit with the batteries able to handle high peak loads created during crane or hoist operations. Each unit has 50kWh of usable battery capacity and a 160kVA inverter output, and can be used on or off grid. Units are available in 50Hz versions for European markets and 60Hz versions for those markets that need it.
The company said: “The system is particularly relevant for tower crane operators, crane companies, construction and infrastructure contractors, civil engineering companies and industrial users with high or fluctuating power demands.”
Based in Brussels, Dome Auctions is a relatively new auction house/platform specialising in the Western European industrial market. Founded by Wim Dieker, former owner of Troostwijk Auctions, the company focuses on selling assets from manufacturing and other companies facing closure or restructuring.
