Another 55t for Marsden

UK rental company Marsden Crane Services has taken delivery of the second 55 tonne Liebherr LTM 1055-3.3 All Terrain crane to arrive in the UK.

The three axle LTM 1055-3.2 has a five section 40 metre main boom and a 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension, which can be offset by 0, 20, or 40 degrees, providing a maximum onboard tip height of 58 metres. It also features Liebherr’s Liccon3 system.

Marsden managing director, Lee Marsden said: “As soon as we heard about the launch of this new three axle crane, we knew it would make a great addition to our fleet. The low axle loads and overall weight, combined with the impressive duties, made it a ‘must have’ for our operations.”

Based in Wigan, the company was established in 2015 by brothers Brendan, Dale and Lee Marsden and runs a fleet of All Terrains between 40 and 150 tonnes, city-type All Terrains, spider and mini crawler cranes, as well as aluminium truck cranes.
