Palfinger, the Austrian loader crane and truck mounted platform manufacturer, has opened a new €1 million Sales & Service Hub in Carregado, in the municipality of Alenquer, on the northeast side of Lisbon, Portugal.
The all new facility
The all new building and yard replaces two smaller facilities, bringing sales, crane installation/mounting and logistics together with its service and repair operations.
All moved in an ready for business
The move adds 60 percent to Palfinger Portugal’s mounting capacity with eight installation bays in place of five, and increases its service and repair capability by around 40 percent.

The move comes barely a month after the company opened a new Sales & Service Hub in Madrid, Spain. Jörg Schopferer, managing director of Palfinger Ibérica said:“The new hub provides our teams with modern facilities, expanded mounting and service capabilities, and an improved operational environment. This enables us to work more efficiently, respond faster to customer needs and strengthen collaboration with our customers and partners. Above all, it gives us a solid foundation for future growth in Portugal.”
