Easi-Uplifts orders three big Falcons

Easi-Uplifts the Irish based access, crane and telehandler rental company has ordered three new 42 metre Falcon 420C at Conexpo today.

The company, which trades as Height for Hire in Ireland, already has a 420C in its fleet. That unit has been shuttling back and forth between Ireland and the company’s branches in the UK.

Two of the new units will be based at Easi-Uplifts midlands depot in Banbury, England, while the third will join the existing unit in Ireland. It is also possible that it will go into the initial fleet at the mainland Europe location that the company plans to open later this year.

The Two UK units are destined for a wide range of projects where floor loadings or access is a challenge. It also anticipates making the units available to other rental companies on a re-rent basis.

Neither Worldlift nor Easi-Uplifts would be drawn on the total value of the order although “considerable” was quoted the units have been ordered complete with all the “bells and whistles” as Fergus McArdle of Easi-Uplifts puts it. This includes water and air to the platform, diesel and electric drive and auto set and -levelling outriggers.
