Crane tips in Walsall

A 60 tonne three axle crane owned by Bromsgrove Crane Hire had a lucky escape yesterday after the ground gave way under one of its rear outriggers. The crane was working on a housing development in Wallsall. Amazingly no damage or injuries were reported. .

The fallen crane

We have not been able to ascertain if the crane was set up over a void nor if outrigger mats were being used.
