Crane operator electrocuted

A 29 year old crane operator, Paul Henry was killed on Wednesday night when the boom of his crane hit overhead power lines. Two other workers were seriously injured in the accident.

The three were moving concrete barriers on Highway 395 near Adelanto, a town in the Mojave Desert. It seems that the crane struck one of the poles, bring down the wires onto the crane. The accident started a small grass fire.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the state Division of Occupational Safety and Health, are both investigating the incident.
