AFI Romania

A new powered access company, AFI Platforme SRL has opened it doors in Bucharest, Romania to tap into the growing demand for aerial lifts generated by the growth in construction and greater concentration on safety and efficiency.

AFI Romania is a division of AFI Arbeitsbühnen GmbH, the Hamburg based rental company managed by Günther Aust. The Romanian business is headed by Hans Kaiser.

AFI Germany and Romania while sharing some links with AFI in the UK is a separate business with a different ownership structure. The German business was established in late October 2003 and now operates from four locations in Hamburg, Essen, Mannheim and Hanover.
