Crane fatality in MK

A man was crushed to death today while helping to dismantle an old boatyard crane at the Willowbridge Marina, Stoke Road, Bletchley, near Milton Keynes in the UK.

A man who works next door to the Marina is quoted as saying: "I came outside for my lunch break and saw the man trapped under the crane. I know he worked for a company who was contracted in to take down the big boat-lifting crane."

Ambulances at the marina today

An air ambulance and two regular ambulances rushed to the site, medics worked on the man at the boatyard but were unable to revive him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
