An eagle eyed reader spotted this man painting a hotel in Looe Cornwall, He used a ladder rather than a scaffold or a lift – first mistake, BUT there are paint jobs where a ladder is the best way to go.

In this case the point was academic,, the way he was using the ladder broke almost every rule in the book, as he gave himself a 50/50 chance at best of not falling and who knows what?
