292 crane order for Hiab
Hiab has received an order for 292 Hiab 222ATF-1 loader cranes from BAE Systems fro delivery to the US Army.
Delivery of the equipment will start during the first quarter of 2009, with most of the deliveries being completed during the year.
The 222ATF-1 is a new model designed specifically for the US Army's Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) wrecker vehicles. Hiab claims that it represents the most modern load handling technology for military use in extreme operating conditions.
This latest order is in addition to an order last year for 428 133AT-2 loader cranes and 32 Multilift MPH085 hooklifts from BAE Systems, also destined for the US Army.
