New Lavendon sales division

DK Rentals sales operation has been re-launched as Lavendon Sales, based in Belgium and responsible for the group’s used equipment sales efforts.

Lavendon Sales will have access to the group’s entire European rental fleet taking responsibility for the sale of all second hand machines, with a key focus on international business to business customers.

The DK Rental sales department has been highly successful across France, Spain and Belgium, to the point that it was decided to launch the new division with an internationally recognised identity across the whole Lavendon group.

Dirk Naessens head of Lavendon Sales said: “In order to bring the sales organisation to a global level, we needed a more internationally known name. Lavendon Sales is made up of the most experienced specialists in the business and will continue to promote the high levels of service that Lavendon is known for.”

DK Rentals has always had a strong resale operation, its previous policy of turning its fleet over after three years or so required a strong used equipment operation in order to make the most of the young fleet policy. Lavendon acknowledged the benefits of that sales operation could bring to the group as a whole.

Changing the name to Lavendon Sales will if nothing else help the operation work more closely with other group companies and help separate the DK Rentals – Rental business more clearly from the sales business. This is the second operational business to adopt the Lavendon name, following the merging of Zooom Spain and DK Rentals Spain into Lavendon España
