GGR to launch 1 tonne glass handling robot.

GGR-Unic will launch its all-new EMU 1000 at an Open Day today – Friday, 12th June.

The EMU 1,000kg has been built to meet increasing customer demand, in the face of the ongoing increases in the size and weight of glass panels.

The GGR EMU 1000 one tonne glass handler

The multi position manipulation head, fitted to the end of a rugged telescopic boom allows glazing from inside out of the building envelope.

It can angle and push a glazing unit outside the envelope, realign it and then pull it back into position for fixing. In addition, the EMU's on-board drive system provides the mobility to access tight interior areas.
