Mammoet takes 100th LTM 1500

The Netherlands-based crane rental firm, Mammoet, has purchased the 100th LTM 1500 mobile crane, which was presented to the company today at the bauma exhibiton in Munich. The 8-axle LTM 1500 was first introduced by Liebherr six years ago at bauma 98, since which time more than 100 units have been sold to 26 countries around the world.

The unit will be the fourth unit of its kind to be sold to The Netherlands, while four units have been delivered to Taiwan, eight to the UK, nine to the Spain and 41 to Germany, which to date remains the strongest market for the 500 t capacity unit.
