New president for Toyota manufacturing USA

Toyota has appointed Kazue Sasaki, as president of Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing in the USA, which builds Toyota fork trucks for the local market.

Sasaki is currently president of Toyota Industries North America, the group’s holding company and a director of Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A. the Aichi aerial lift distributor for North America.

Outgoing president Susumu (Sonny) Toyoda has completed a five year term and will remain active within Toyota Industries Corporation.

Sasaki has previously served as a senior managing officer of Toyota Industries Corporation and led the group’s engine division.
