Egyptian order for Kone

Damietta Container and Cargo Handling of Egypt, has ordered six mobile gantry cranes and two reach stackers from Kone cranes of Finland.

The 16-wheel 40 tonne RTG gantry cranes can stack containers five high across seven stacks wide.

The reach stackers are 10 tonnes empty container models, and can stack up to six high and three deep.

Admiral Mohamed Saad Zagloul, chairman of Damietta said: "These investments are part of our extensive expansion plans for the future. The new equipment will improve our productivity and we look forward to receiving it."
