Extreme orders second 70m Wumag

UK based Extreme Access Hire has ordered a second 70 metre Wumag WT700 for delivery in May, the company which is new to the access rental market is targeting the wind turbine market and took delivery of Its first 70 metre Wumag in November.

The two Wumag units have the same specification, with a sleeper cab, automatic transmission, extra tool storage space, a 400Volt hydraulic generator that can be operated from the platform.

A television camera cable has also been run inside the boom to the platform which is also equipped with hydraulic and electrical outlets. Both units have been sold by Palfinger Wumag distributor Skyking.

The company, which is owned by Stuart Worley is based in the West Midlands, with offices in Solihull, close to the National Exhibition Centre – NEC – and convenient to the UK’s motorway network
