Omme launches 37m spider

Omme has announced a new 37 metre telescopic spider lift, the 3700RBDJ with bi-energy power pack which it will unveil at Bauma in April.

The new Omme lift 3700RBDJ


The new lift features a seven section boom plus 130 degree articulated jib and full 180 degree platform rotation. Outreach is 14 metres and maximum capacity -250kg lift capacity.

Power comes from a Kubota diesel for outdoors with dual motor battery electric system for indoor use or where noise is an issue. A large eight battery power pack ensures a decent shift between recharges.

The platform offers a full 180 degree rotation


The crawler chassis features a two speed drive to offer a faster 'turbo drive' travel speed in the stowed position. The lift is just 1.1 metres wide with basket removed and hydraulically extends to 1.5 metres for normal travel and will climb slopes of up to 35 percent and set up on slopes of up to 40 percent.

Overall height is 1.98 metres with a length of 7.78 metres with the basket in situ 7.23 metres when removed. Gross Vehicle Weight is 5.2 tonnes.

The jib articulates 130 degrees


Omme says that the lift will reach full height from stowed in two minutes and 50 seconds and that it has already received pre-launch orders from Australia, China, Germany, Holland and Hong Kong.
