Ramirent expands in Sweden

International rental company Ramirent has acquired the Hyrmaskiner group which trades as Hyrmaskiner Tidermans.

Hyrmaskiner i Gävle AB, includes Hyrmaskiner i Mora AB and Hyrmaskiner i Falun AB, with five locations in Gävleborg and Dalarna operating under the Tidermans brand. The acquisition beefs up Ramirent’s coverage of central Sweden.

Hyrmaskiner was founded in 1993 and has locations in Borlänge, Falun, Gävle, Mora and Rättvik with a total of 40 employees. Products include powered access tools and general equipment. Revenues last year were around €7 million.

Peter Dahlsten, managing director Ramirent’s operations in Sweden said: “This important acquisition brings us closer to our customers in the middle of Sweden and is in line with Ramirent's strategy of growing in selected markets. I warmly welcome Hyrmaskiner i Gävle into the Ramirent family.”
