Blade Access has taken delivery of two CTE 17 metre tracked platforms

This feature is particularly useful when covering longer distances suhc as crossing a field to reach a point of work.

“Track mounted platforms have been a preferred choice of our maintenance division for quite a few years now and are increasingly becoming the platform of choice for many reasons,” said Blade’s Mark Bell. “With the ability to work both indoors and outdoors on the same site they have helped to reduce costs for our clients on many projects. Both new units are available for end user hire or cross-hire throughout the UK.”

Bell said that he is also planning to add at least four new 23 metre tracked platforms in 2010. “Strengthening the diversity of our access platform fleet is key for all parts of our working at height divisions and these new track mounts will fit nicely alongside the new truck mounts we are expecting delivery of in the near future,” he said.
